Kansas State University Lacrosse Alumni
Kansas State University Lacross Alumni asked Catherine to design a new logo to represent K-State University's 35th Anniversary of Lacrosse. They wanted a logo for the Alumni team, since the college team already had a logo.
Catherine took inspiration from the K-State mascot, Willie the Wildcat, and the K-State Logo for the Wildcat Head. She wanted to show the love of KSU and the sport that brought the KSULA team together.

Basic Design of the Overall Idea

Final Design
Catherine further designed the logo. Adding in elements the KSULA team wanted. Adding in the 35 to represent the 35th year of K-State Lacrosse, adding the Donaldson P. Tillar III Logo (not designed by Catherine) to the sleeve, and adding the name Donaldson P. Tillar III and number 10 to the glove.

Other Final Design Options
KSULA wanted to have a few other logos with the 35th Year replaced with the Donaldson P. Tillar III Logo (not designed by Catherine). The Donaldson P. Tillar III Logo represents Donaldson P. Tillar III who was a friend, leader, and hero to the KSULA. First Lieutenant Tillar was a part of the KSU Lacross team and trained as a helicopter pilot. He played and coached lacrosse throughout his career. He was deployed with the 1st Infantry to Saudi Arabia in the Fall of 1990 to support Operation Desert Storm/Desert Shield and the Gulf War. On February 27, 1991, First Lieutenant Tillar would die during his service when his helicopter was shot down.
The KSU Lacrosse Alumni Team is built on remembering Donaldson P. Tillar III.
